Dimensity 8100 is the newest upcoming chipset from Mediatek.

The new chipset is said to have a 5nm chip using four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.85GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores going up to 2.0GHz. Graphically intensive tasks such as gaming and video will use the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.

We also received some information about one of the first smartphones to get the Dimensity 8100.


The smartphone is said to have a 6.7″ FullHD+ AMOLED screen, in-display fingerprint reader, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage.

However this information is not yet confirmed.

We are glad to see that the new chipset looks some impressive and that we should see it in action really soon.
