Riots took place during the Wednesday night in the London district of Brixton. They started when a large, illegal (due to coronavirus) gathering of people seemingly having an outdoors party would not disperse when told to by the police. Law enforcement’s insistence, mixed with crowd’s aggression, have eventually lead to an all-out riot. Scramble ensued, in which the rioters (great majority of which seem to be people of colour) have throw things at the police, used a table to break through the police line and one person even brandished a sword against them.

Eventually the crowd dispersed. Fifteen policemen ended up wounded, and four of the rioters (why so few?) have been arrested.
