The app will stop working on January 28th; its users will be redirected towards the browser version of the website. The reason for Facebook’s decision to kill off desktop app is the supposedly low interest it has garnered among the PC owners. Its users are already receiving proper notifications. Facebook Messenger for PC, on the other hand, will still work.
