Feral Interactive has just released the mobile edition of Rome: Total War’s expansion. Barbarian Invasion, as the name suggests, introduces new factions of ”barbarian” tribes into the game, fighting with the weakening Roman Empire for territorial and monetary gains. Player can take control over either force, either leading them to victory over the dirty barbarians or toppling what remains of Rome. One of the biggest additions to the gameplay is the so-called Horde mechanic, which imitates some of the barbarian tribes’ nomadic lifestyle.

The game will work on iPhone 5s or newer. It requires iOS 12 and 4 gigabytes of free space on the hard drive. The price of the game is $4.99. Its trailer can be watched here.
