iPhone is making its own foldable?

According to the chinese ETNews, Apple has recently ordered a large supply of flexible displays from Samsung Display. These are almost exacly the same displays as the ones used in Galaxy Fold, except their diagonal is 0.1′ smaller. This is not a final and definite proof that Apple is making its own foldables, but there are also rumours, provided by CNBC and based on their unknown source, that Apple has been planning on making an iPhone foldable device for the last year. Does the fruit(y) company really want to take a bite out of the foldable cake? It is hard to say, especially since this cake is seemingly not all that huge; there are no official numbers but, according to the user’s interest, Galaxy Fold is not selling great.
