YouTube disables comments under videos with juveniles

YouTube officials have just released an official statement that they will disable comments under video material depicting adolescents under the age of 18. To be precise, this material needs to be made specifically for uploading on YouTube: movie clips’ comments, for example, will not be disabled. YouTube’s decision is an answer to two large companies, Hasbro and Disney, removing their ads from the website, something that they have done because of a pedophile scandal in which a number of sexual predators have been found trying to persuade children via YT comments to meet them. This is big money that the video-sharing website is missing on, and they will do much to get it back. “Much” includes future plans such as making the commentary disable wider as well as increased penalties for possible pedophiles.
