LG will show off its newest flagship, G8 ThinQ, on this year’s MWC 2019, but even before that we will get a look at one of the device’s more interesting features. The name of this feature is Crystal Sound – it is a technology that LG already uses in its TVs that allows the device’s display to also play the role of a loudspeaker. Technicalities of how this happens are complicated, having something to do with the glass vibrations, but it does not matter. G8 ThinQ will have two loudspeakers, one build into its lower front panel and the other one being its display, therefore giving it immersive sound capabilities.

Gossip shapes this device up to be pretty powerful and feature-filled. This, sadly, also means that its price will be substantial – latest rumours talk about 1200 dollars.
