Rumour that LG is going to show off a foldable device of its own during the CES 2019 have been around for over a month now. Newest leak from the European Union Intellectual Property Office suggests that this may be true, as LG has just patented three names for its future devices: Foldi, Flex and Duplex. All three names suggest a foldable device. Category 9 class given to them means that they will be smartphones.
Three patents do not neccessarily mean that we will get three new LG devices, mind you. Bah, we might not even get a single one, foldable or not. Perhaps LG just wants to call dibs on the names that they will use in the unspecified future. We shall see.
