Nokia makes good phones but is not particulary fast when it comes to updating them. At least until now. Nokia 7 is already running on Pie, with 5.1’s update being planned. According to Juho Sarvikas, Nokia’s employee that often visits Twitter, Nokia 6.1 will not only be updated to Android Pie but quickly so, without entering the Beta Labs betatests first. On the one hand it is good, as we can expect the update to arrive any day; on the other hand, lack of beta testing does not bode well for the update’s stability.
