iPhone Xs crash-tested

iPhone Xs crash-tested

Original article available at Jack Telecom. Long story short, Apple’s newest smartphone is here (or soon to be here, depending on your country). Naturally, the device had to be crash-tested. Its first test was committed accidentally – a happy owner from Hong-Kong had the misfortune of dropping his unit while trying to take some photos. The results are not pretty, as shown by the picture above. Strong curved glass did not survive the impact with the ground, shattering like its owner’s good mood. Apple’s claims of iPhone Xs sporting ”the strongest 4-curved glass” are seemingly exaggerated. Of course, iPhone Xs was never supposed to be a rugged device, so this is not a case of broken promises and undelivered features: it is just life.

If you ever have the misfortune of breaking your iPhone, I suggest going to the official after-sales service, as otherwise you may be facing issues with display due to software problems.
