Nazrin Hassan, CEO of Cradle Fund, dead in a smartphone-related accident

Hassan was killed when one of two smartphones he was known for carrying around each day exploded. Explosion started fire in the man’s bedroom; the cause of death may be the either the fire itself or, as believes Nazrin’s brother-in-law, a piece of an exploding phone that critically struck the back of the man’s head.

”He had two phones, one Blackberry and a Huawei. We don’t know which one exploded. Who would have thought such an innocuous routine procedure is the reason three young kids will grow up without their father by their side”.

Police, on the other hand, claims that the inhalation of smoke was what killed mister Hassan. We at IMEI24 do not know what really happened, but we know this – be careful with your smartphones. Always use original chargers and never keep them in tightly confined spaces where they can warm up quickly.
