Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has received its Wi-Fi certification
Seeing as a device with model number SM-G885 has already received both Bluetooth SIG and now Wi-Fi Alliance certifications, which suggests that the device’s release date is nearly here. As always, the certification does not tell us much about the phone’s specs: it confirms the Android 8.0 Oreo OS and that is pretty much it. The device is expected to come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity Display, an Exynos 7885 CPU, 4/6GB RAM, dual camera and 3700mAh battery. It probably but not neccessarily will be available outside of ...

Want to see a porn flick? Buy a token, or no ID, no XXX
Now that the clickbait title is out of the way, lets get to the meat of the post. British government has the right/wrong idea to curb the popularity of pornographic websites among the adolescents. In order to do so, they devised a plan to limit the access to XXX sites by implementing special codes neccessary in order to enter them. These 16-digit tokens could be bought at kiosks, of course only after presenting the shopkeep with an identification card. This method has been accepted by the government and will be implemented soon, even though it has a vocal number of critics believing that it ...
New version of reCAPTCHA is being finished as we speak. It will automatically recognize us as humans
Everyone knows reCAPTCHA, even if not everyone recognizes it by name. It is that annoying window at the end of many registration processes, the one that tells you to type in characters shown in the picture or answer a question. The creator of this little monster – a useful one, but still a monster – Google, has reportedly decided that reCAPTCHA is too annoying and have almost finished their work on the new version of the program. reCAPTCHA 3 is all about working in the background without being seen. The program can determine whether the applicant is a bot or a living human based ...

Apple vs a class action lawsuit. Ouch
Macbook butterfly keyboards are delicate devices, prone to jamming and other failures; many people know it and some of them have decided they had enough. Seventeen thousand people have signed the petition wrote by a number of MacBook 12 and MacBook Pro 2016 users from the Northen Distric Court of California. They believe that their devices’ butterfly keyboards are way too prone to malfunction and demand a change. They also believe that Apple is aware of the issue and still not only does not do anything about it but even has the nerve to charge more for the MacBooks with defected ...

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Oreo update is out, again
First release of Android 8.0 Oreo for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphones took place over a month ago. It was pulled back, possibly due to a number of glitches. A couple new pictures of Nokia 6X
An event will take place in China on May 16th where Nokia will show off its newest phone, Nokia 6X. We know some of this phone’s specs for a while now – 5.8′ FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, Snapdragon 636 CPU, Adreno 509 GPU, fingerprint scanner, dual camera, Android 8.1.0 Oreo – and now, thanks to these few new pictures, we have a good idea of what will it look like. What do these pictures show us? An iPhone-esque notch (let me know if you have any idea what purpose does it serve other than looking kewl) and lack of Zeiss name near the camera. The latter may ...
