Hooray, the newest iOS is out. iOS 11.3 has just been delivered to us, and it brings with itself a number of new features. The most noteworthy (relatively…) of them are:
– four new Animojis; a lion, a bear, a dragon and a skull,
– ARKit 1.5 update which allows ARKit to recognize more objects and surfaces,
– battery update that offers more information about the state of your phone’s battery, like its capacity and when it is time to charge. You can now also decide whether or not your iOS should throttle your old battery’s performance, finally. This particular feature is in its beta version for now,
– new Health app feature that allows you to centralize all your health records. This one is, for now, limited to a number of clinics,
– customer support conversations for Messages,
– new video clips section for Apple Music,
– App Store Updates tab is now more informative.
Time will tell whether all of these features work as intended.
