It looks like Samsung’s updates are finally catching up with its more flagship devices. Yesterday, Note 8 got its security update; today it is A8+’s turn. The update is rolling out in India, with other markets probably following soon. Update weights 114 megabytes, which leads some to believe that it contains little more than Spectre and Meltdown fixes.

If you want to make sure whether or not the update is available in your country, go to Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
