Two years ago, Samsung released an Olympic Games Limited Edition of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, a special edition (duh) of the phone that was distributed to every Olympian competitor (except North Korea, because f*ck imperialistic capitalism, Great Kim Jong can bring us some sun rocks from his walking trip to sun). Now that the next olympics are to take place in South Korea, Samsung’s home turn, company is repeating this stun in with Galaxy Note 8 Olympic Games Limited Edition 2018. So, what is so special about that Olympic Games Limited Edition?

– white colour variant with gold accent to ”celebrate the winter theme”,
– Olympic logo,
– S pen with gold elements,
– special wallpapers.

A fancy bling, true, but only a bling. Of course, Note 8 is a fine smartphone in itself, and getting one for free is certainly a treat that many olympians will be thankful for (except, wait for it, North Koreans). It is doubtful that the Olympic Games Limited Edition will make it to the stores, but who knows – Samsung did end up offering the S7 edge Olympic Games Limited Edition for sale, even if it’s price was 100$ higher than normal S7 edge’s.
