Yaay. Samsung continues its new and odd tradition of updating its mid and low-entry phones before the flagships. Galaxy J3 (2017) and Galaxy J1 mini are the newest Samsung phones to receive January security update. Firmware version J330FXXU3ARA3 or J105FXXU0ARA2 brings with it five critical Android vulnerabilities, 13 critical Samsung vulnerabilities and a number of low vulnerability fixes. The over-the-air update should be available to all now; if it is not, it will be soon, so be patient.
