Axon 7 initially launched in 2016 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Half an year later, in October, smartphone’s OS was updated to Android 7.0. For a long time there was no word on another OS update for the smartphone – until now. ZTE has officially announced that they are working on updating the Axon 7’s operating system to 8.0 Oreo. The update has no known ETA, though, so it will be done ”when it is done”. What we do know is the update will feature new ”Stock and UI”, whatever that may exacly mean.
