Guess they got what was coming to them… a group of eight British citizens responsible for up to 49 cases of smuggling contraband to prisons in the period of two years has been caught by the police and put under arrest. Two leaders of the group have been sentenced to six and seven years in prison (Craig Hickinbottom, 35, was the main ringleader). The organization have smuggled over one million pounds worth of contraband over the course of their illegal activities. Funny part is that the police had no luck apprehending the criminals themselves; it was only after they were caught on wildlife-recording cameras in the wilds near the prison that they were captured. Go animal telly channels, I guess.
Illegal drone activities are slowly growing to be a problem. Even if people are not using them to deliver contraband, many drone pilots fly their toys irresponsibly, creating dangerous situations for themselves and people near them.
