Samsung is pushing out a July security patch for the older Galaxy J5 smartphones in all of Europe. Update features a number of bug fixes and performance improvements, nothing major. It should download automatically at any moment now, but if it does not, head to Settings > About Device > Download Updates Manually.

I am glad to see Samsung taking care of older phones, even budget ones, by keeping their security systems up to date. It is a shame, though, that Galaxy J5 still has not, and probably will not, receive an OS update to Nougat. Oh well.
