Real-life photos of Samsung Galaxy S8 Active leaked. Hurray

According to one Dominique Henderson, an Android Central forums user, has posted a threat last night in which they claimed they possess a working Galaxy S8 Active unit. Leak also contains a number of information about the device’s design and specification. If we assume that Henderson’s leak is true, then what does it tell us about the Galaxy S8 Active?– 4000mAh battery,– 18.5:9 screen ratio, screen shielded by a polycarbonate layer– thick side bezels,– at least parts of the body (e.g. frame and the abovementioned bezels) are made of metal,– lack of ...

Countries that LG Q8 will be available at

I wrote about Q8 just last week – if you want to catch up, check out the article I cooked up. Well, according to LG Electronics, which are Q8’s original equipment manufacturer, LG Q8 will come out in more countries than just Italy this week. The company did not share the exact places that the phone will be launched at, but a number of European and Asian countries has been suggested. The only countries that the phone will be released at this week, though, are European ...

Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) spotted on TENAA

And the only thing that it confirms is phone’s dual camera setup, just like Galaxy Note 8 has. Other than that, we have learned nothing new. As far as specification goes, all we have are old news (rumours): 5.7′ Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 CPU, 4GB RAM and 3300mAh battery. The aforementioned dual camera setup is supposed to be a 16mpx main and 8mpx secondary cameras.Perhaps it does not matter much to us anyway, since Galaxy C series are usually reserved for ...

Messaging, new messaging (duh) app by HTC, now available on Google Play

HTC and OnePlus are, by now, the only smartphone companies that lately released their very own apps on Google Play Store. OnePlus has released its Weather app; HTC released Messaging, its brand new messaging app. Even though both can be downloaded from Google Store, they will only work on their respective companies’ phones. Interesting. The supposed reason HTC did this is because it makes it easier to update the app without releasing separate updates for specific HTC mobiles. As for the Messaging itself, there is not much to say, really. Application’s interface looks similiar to ...

Legendary Pokemon will soon come to Pokemon GO

Tomorrow, on July 22nd, a global Pokemon Go event will begin. The goal of the event will be to catch a given, presumably large, amount of Pokemon. If enough pocket monsters are caught (sounds dirty), the first Legendary Pokemon ever will be revealed in the Grand Park, Chicago. If that beast will be defeated by the end of the day, it will begin to appear in Pokemon Raids even after the Go Fest is over.If you cannot attend the event for one reason or another (for example you do not live in Chicago), you can watch it being streamed live on ...

Copper Nokia 8 images leaked

Wooo. So exciting. Anyway, a bunch of life images of supposed copper-coloured Nokia 8 have leaked earlier today on Baidu, a Chinese forum. Leak suggests that the device is already in mass-production and will be launched by the end of July.Yeah, copper colour looks cool, and is certainly original. What else? Not much. Device seems to look exacly as it was depicted before – single-lens, dual camera setup, physical Home button, the works. The only thing that differs the image from the most recent renders is a distinct lack of Carl Zeiss branding. In other words, were is me Zeiss cmera? ...

How BlackBerry protects US and Canadian governments

After a few years of apathy, BlackBerry seems to be doing better. First, BB released a quite successful KEYone smartphone. This in turn helped the company turn out strong earnings in its first fiscal quarter. Now sun shines over BlackBerry once more, as governments of United States of America and Canada have turned to it for cybersecurity. SecuSUITE for Government is a multi-platform solution created to offer end-to-end encryption for text and voice calls. This feature, now a part of BlackBerry Secure, has been rented by the above countries’ governments to protect their cyber assets. ...

How a Chinese woman tried to smuggle over a hundred iPhones

China may be different than much of the world, but it has something common with every corner of the globe – namely, high prices of iPhones. Chinese methods of bypassing this issue are also similiar to those of the rest of the world – they smuggle them. One of those would-be smugglers was a Chinese woman that recently got caught during a customs control while on her way out of Hong Kong. Guards have found on her not one, not two but 102 iPhones, along with fifteen luxurious watches, all of which she neatly strapped to her body. Whole package weighted over fourty four pounds and ...

What might be Huawei Nova 2 Plus just hit FCC

Two slightly different models have just made it through the United States Federal Communications Commission. Devices, numbered BAC-L03 and BAC-L23, will differ in the number of SIM cards supported, with L03 supporting one card and L23 supporting two. Similiarity of the devices’ numbers to BAC-AL00, which is Huawei Nova 2 Plus’ model number in China, leads us to believe that these may be the US versions of the smartphone. If that turns out to be true, Americans can look forward to getting a Huawei phone with 5.5′, 1920 x 1080p display, Snapdragon 625 CPU and a 3340mAh ...
