We smartphone people have been on our toes for weeks now, checking out every piece of info on the Samsung’s hot new phone, and are now impatiently waiting for its release on April 21st – but what about the people who aren’t in the know? There are (I think) lots of people who would love to get their hands on an S8 or S8+, but simply are not aware of these phones. Samsung has thought of that, and aired very first Galaxy S8 TV commercial, and I personally love it.The premise is that of an old-design phone showing clips of people entertaining themselves with energetic ...

Moto E4 and E4 Plus have received their FCC certification. Wow, what the… 5k battery?
A phone designed as Motorola XT1773 has been listed among FCC certified devices, and people more in the know than I am believe that this is the upcoming Moto E4 device. We already know some of the phone’s specification, but the certificate has just brought us a pretty incredible piece of news – it looks like the Moto E4 Plus, bigger of the two phones, will have a 5000mAh battery. If true, this would make Moto E4 Plus the one with the largest batteries in the Moto family, and one of the largest batteries available all around.Specification of Moto E4:– 16GB RAM,– ...

Big news in big business: 2-year and $9 bilion contract for OLED iPhone display panels signed between Apple and Samsung
Unless various sources are wrong, two mobile giants, Apple and Samsung, have just sealed a large deal. Apple has contracted Samsung to ship 70 to 92 million screen panels in 2017, and presumably an even larger number next year. Increase in production will require Samsung to pay $9 bilion to expand its OLED panels production.Apple and Samsung are rivals, at least when it comes to smartphones (a large consumer of OLED panels). It is interesting to see these two working together, or at least one working for another. What do you think? Is it just business, or are there some ulterior motives in ...
LG G6 launches globally today
The device has been out in South Korea for a while, and now it is time for the rest of the world to get their paws on it too. It will hit the shelves in, quote, key countries in North America, Asia, Europe, Central and South America over the course of the next several weeks”. As I already informed our readers a while back, among these countries will most certainly be Canada, US and Poland. Are you interested, but do not quite remember G6’s specification? Here it is, just for you:– 5.7′ display, FullVision, 1440 x 2880p,– Snapdragon 821 CPU,– Adreno 530 ...
HTC U Ultra receives its first large software upgrade
It has only been a few weeks since HTC U Ultra’s release, and it has already got its first major update. It’s a big one, too, weighing whole 638 megabytes – not sure if that means the original U Ultra’s software was so messed up that it needed a lot of patching or that HTC wants to make the phone as polished as possible. Maybe both. Mo Versi, HTC’s Vice President of product management, has advertised the update as „improving experience with bug fixes and additional features on the second screen”. ...
Android O is coming. Which phones will support it?
Early development version of Android O (Oreo), the newest-not-completely-ready-yet operating system with a green robot logo, is now available online. Full version is said to be complete by the end of the year. If you feel like downloading and giving a go to this incomplete, untested, probably glitchy and not fully secure OS, you can, but there is a catch. Android O will work only on few select phones (kinda like other Androids have or still do). To test Oreo, you will need one of these:– Nexus Player,– Nexus 5X,– Nexus 6P,– Pixel,– Pixel C,– Pixel ...
Stronger versions of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are coming, though not to the US
Samsung has just revealed that their latest (and, arguably, greatest) Galaxy S8 and S8+ will have an even better versions of themselves coming out soon. Both devices are supposed to get 6 instead of 4 gigabytes of RAM, as well as 128GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage instead of 64GB. According to Samsung though, these will not be released in U.S. (why, I do not know). If you were American, I wouldn’t worry. Even the ”normal” Galaxy S8/S8+ is a beautiful monster that has more processing power and memory than anyone needs it ...
