Hell in Dallas, or how someone turned on all the 156

Friday, late evening in American city of Dallas. Sleeping (or partying) citizens were roused from their beds (or sobered up) by the sudden bellow of the alarm siren. No, a few sirens. Lots of sirens… someone managed to turn on all the 156 alarm sirens in the city. Sirens, which usual purpose is to warn the citizens against the impending tornado, have started to yowl and did not stop for more than one and half an hour. Even on the next day, people of Dallas were disconcerted, and many rumours surfaced about the night’s event. Some people were even worried about the incoming military danger. As it turned out, or at least so says the city’s government, someone has managed to break the siren’s security system and managed to take over a complicated, multi-level control system of them. For now there is no suspect, as well as no official statement on how and why did the hacker do what she/he did. One thing is for sure, though – however and whatever for, that hacker unsettled a great deal of people.
