Batterycalypse, or Nexus 6P, Google Pixel and LG G5 power down at even 30% battery capacity

Nexus 6P owners were the first one to complain, saying their phones were turning off at the battery capacity of 15% to 20%. Short ago, Google Pixel and LG G5 users have joined the complaints, with the former saying that their Pixels can power down on them even at 30% battery cap. The only way to fix the issue is to charge the phone. Huawei, makers of the Nexus smartphone, blame the faulty Android Nougat for the issue, and seeing how other Android Nougat-using devices have that problem, they may be right. Google has hardly commented on the issue so far, their only suggestions being returning to the factory settings or (ha, ha, ha) exchanging the device for a new one.
