BlackBerry works on a new phone with a physical phone

John Chen, CEO of BlackBerry, confirmed that his company is working on a new smartphone with a physical keyboard. This is an interesting turn back for BlackBerry, since not only it is the recent craze to have button-free phones, but the company’s last models, DTEK50 and DTEK60 are both full touchscreens. Mr. Chen did not betray any of the phone’s specifics, so all we know is gossip and rumours. According to these not trustworthy sources, the phone’s codename is Mercury. It will come out with a 4.5′ screen, a 2 GHz, 8-core Qualcomm processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, an 18mp rear camera and 8mp front camera and, last but not least, a 3,400 mAh battery.
