We already knew that Xiaomi Mi 5s is supposed to sport first ever under glass fingerprint scanner. Now, thanks to the leaked picture that first appeared on a Chinese blog website Weibo, we also know that the upcoming model will not have a physical Home button, instead opting for a touchscreen button. It is the black and white button on the bottom edge of the screen, which looks similiar to an iPhone’s. It is said that this button will house the aforementioned under glass fingerprint scanner, rumoured to work even when the user’s finger is wet.

The upcoming device is reported to feature a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 processor and Adreno 531 GPU. It will run on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8, which the user will watch on a 5.15-inch screen with 1080p resolution, Force Touch included. Device is to be available in three versions, with 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 256GB of memory storage. As for the camera, Xiaomi Mi 5s will be equipped with a 16MP rear sensor with a 4-axis OIS, PDAF an aperture of f/1.8 and an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter. The device will be powered by A 3490mAh battery.
