Sony just revealed what we can expect with two newest Xperia smartphones.

Xperia XZ (left)
Screen: 5.5″ 1080p IPS;
SoC: Snapdragon 820;
RAM: 3GB;
Storage: up to 32GB + microSD;
Cameras: 23/13MP;
Battery: 2900mAh;
Others: IP95/IP68, Qualcomm Quick Charge, USB Type-C, side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power button;

Xperia X Compact (right)
Screen: 4.6″ 720p, IPS;
SoC: Snapdragon 650;
RAM: 3GB;
Storage: up to 32GB + microSD;
Cameras: 23/5MP;
Battery: 2700mAh;
Others: stereo speakers, Qualcomm Quich Charge, USB Type-C, side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power button;

Xperia XZ should be avaible at the beginning of October and Xperia X Compact will hit the shelves just few days after IFA. Precise prices wasn’t revealed but bigger Xperia XZ will cost more then EUR 700 (780$) and smaller X Compact will be between Xperia X and Xperia X Performance so anything between EUR 500 and EUR 700 ($560-780).
Both models are priced high and Sony makes na impression blind men just giving prices and not looking around. With similar money you can buy phones with stronger SoC and bigger RAM, Sony if flowing with awesome rear cameras and mark itself. But is it enough?
Beyond phones Sony also showed two covers fo X series: Style Cover Touch and Style Cover Stand. First of them have transparent front which supports using phone without opening case and second can be changed into stand for your phone.
