We all knew that it couldn’t be true, and the great prices of the newest model coming from HTC are not permanent.
Right now the phone costs $399.99, which is a great price no doubt about it, but it is only a promotion, not every custmer will have such price.

HTC made an official statement about the price which looks like this:

“the cost of the HTC One A9 is the same worldwide to all distributors and operator partners. For end consumers, HTC’s sales regions are given the freedom to set prices and promotions as they see fit for local market needs.”

Which is very cleaver, the company is not responsible for all the problems with the price, and have announced that the price is the same for all regions.

The discount is valid only till November 6, and as stated on the website

“After the promotional pre-sale offer ends, the new price in the US at htc.com will be $499.99 beginning 12:01 a.m. on 11/7.”
So if you live in the USA grab you wallet and run to the store, it is really a great device for a great price right now.
