Desire 500 is representative of the mid-range, which tries to reconcile quality with reasonable price. Here is a specification of the advantages and disadvantages oh this phone:

In addition to the phone box you will find: charger, cable, used both for charging with the charger and to connect the phone to a computer and headphones. The headphone cord is flat, which should at least partially impede its jumble up.
Desire housing 500 is made of plastic and comes in two main colors – black and silver, which also has various versions of the color strip around the casing.
Desire 500 has a display low by today’s standards a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, which translates into a density of 217 PPI level in the case of 4.3-inch. Built-in quad-core processor clocked Snapdragon 200 1.2 Ghz aided by 1 GB of RAM.
The smartphone has only 4 GB of built-in memory on the system, applications and user files. The latter is a little over 600 MB.
HTC uses the most popular mobile operating system Android. Sorry for Desire 500 is not the latest version. HTC has Android 4.1.2
HTC has a pretty decent camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels. Full resolution is only available in 4:3 aspect ratio. By default, the camera takes pictures of 16:9, and the pictures are a little over 6 megapixels.
The function menu is divided into categories, and has a number of useful features-among other things, HDR and panorama.
As for video, the resolution is arbitrarily limited to 720p. Recording Full HD is not available on this model.
The system has two browsers – system, supplied with Android, which has been adapted by the HTC Sense interface, and Google Chrome.
Video player according to the manufacturer copes with DivX/XviD/MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV files.
