Twitter today released a new version of its mobile application for RIM’s BlackBerry platform. Twitter 3.0 for BlackBerry adds one crucial element: integration with RIM’s BlackBerry Messenger service. According to Twitter, BBM integration allows users to share their latest Tweet as a BBM message, as well as access their contacts’ Twitter accounts from their BBM profiles. Other features include the ability to share web links directly from the browser and upload photos to Twitter directly from the BlackBerry camera application.
