HTC Flyer (Wi-Fi) tablet gets upgraded to Android 3.2 Honeycomb

The 3G-equipped version of the HTC Flyer tablet and the 4G-ready variant known as the EVO View 4G sold on Sprint may have been upgraded to Android 3.2 Honeycomb already, but now the Wi-Fi-only version of the 7-inch tablet is getting in on the action. Though this isn’t the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that everyone would rather have, the update does bring a proper tablet operating system to the Flyer, along with a new version of HTC’s Sense interface for tablets. Also included are various performance improvements and support for HTC’s Scribe pen input. Users should now be able to download the update directly to the tablet by going to the software update function in the Settings menu.
