Nokia Looking to Pawn Its Vertu Luxury Line

Nokia is interested in selling off its U.K.-based Vertu subsidiary, which sells high-end cell phones. According to a report in the Financial Times, Nokia has hired Goldman Sachs to help it fetch top dollar for the cell phone unit, which is valued between $270 and $400 million. The Financial Times says that private equity groups will be the most likely buyers of Vertu, though Nokia has not confirmed the story.
