Dell Streak 5 updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread

The Dell Streak 5, Dell’s original smartphone/tablet hybrid, may be discontinued, but the company is doing good to support its customers, as it has just released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the 5-inch devices. Samsung reportedly reevaluating Android 4.0 ICS upgrade plans for Galaxy S, Tab

Nokia to Discontinue Contacts Back-Up Service

Nokia today said that it plans to shut down the Nokia Contacts web site on January 24, 2012. Nokia Contacts allowed users fo Symbian smartphones to sync their contact data with Nokia’s servers for safe keeping.
