Samsung releases a limited edition case for Galaxy Note 8

Samsung tries to keep the in-between of flagship phones interesting with this new fancy case for the Galaxy Note 8 model. Company has just announced that it will be releasing a number of limited edition cases for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. Possibly an ”extremely small number of super duper limited edition” would be more fitting, since only 99 cases will be made. Each one of them will even be numbered – sounds like a treat for a collectioner with way too much money. Samsung says that a special theme will be applied to the owner’s Galaxy Note 8 upon putting the ...

Specs of Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) confirmed

Much has been said about the upcoming Galaxy A (2018) series, so allow me to skip the lenghty introduction and get straight to the interesting part. A hands-on video depicting Galaxy A8+ (2018) has leaked online. It has been taken down shortly after, but not before some of the faster people online have managed to scribble down the details of the device’s specifications. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus renders

There is no shortage of leaks on Galaxy S9/S9+ on the Internet. A group of people – I do not know who exacly, sorry – have gathered these leaks and based upon them an impressive render of both phones. You can see it by looking above this text. Among the changes in regards to the last Galaxy S model, one can notice a thinner bezel (when was the last time that any phone’s render depicted a large bezel…), under-camera fingerprint scanner and five colour variants available. We already know most of the Galaxy S9’s specifications:– Super AMOLED screen, ...

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) series may launch in three colour variants

It has been a while since I last wrote about anything that Roland Quandt leaked. It is about time I do! According to Quandt, phones from the Galaxy A8 (2018) series will be available in three colour variants at day 0. These colours will be Black, Gold, and Orchid Gray. Of course this is an unofficial bit of info, but then again, it is Roland Quandt we are talking about. He is usually correct. Besides, Black and Gold are colours that were available in the A series ever since the Galaxy A3 (2017), while Orchid Gray was already used for Galaxy Note 8 as well as S8 and S8+. ...

Not even 1% of Android devices run on Oreo

We all know that Android is fragmented, okay? Some devices never receive updates to their operating systems, some get them late, newer OS sometimes do not work on older devices or in certain regions, one provider allows for the specific operating system while the other does not, yadda yadda. Old story. The reason I am writing this is because, as old as this story is, it is now getting a bit ridiculous. According to data lately released by Google, only 0.5% (half-a-percent) of Android devices run on Android’s latest operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo. Right now Google Pixel phones all ...

Rumours about it have been floating around the web for some time now; today it looks like we get them confirmed. ”Confirmation” comes in form of a screenshot from Health S, an app that will supposedly be released along with Galaxy S9. Screenshot contains an instructional drawing which depicts a fingerprint scanner button placed right under the camera. It looks very similiar to the rear of Galaxy A8 series.Samsung Galaxy S9 will be released in February or March. I do not know how much the phone will cost, but what I do know is its specifications:– Super AMOLED screen, ...

Samsung Email app has been downloaded 100 million times from the Google Play Store

Well, Samsung Email is definitely one popular app. Even though it works only on devices with Android 7.0 or higher, and most of these devices already have it pre-installed, Samsung Email has still managed to get downloaded one hundred million times since its release in January 2017. Part of the reason for such a high number is probably the fact that the app is updated not via an OTA but through the Play Store. Another reason is the fact that Samsung Email supports IMAP, POP3 and Exchange ActiveSync, which means that it can contain all of your e-mails.Want to check it out? You can download ...
