HTC Locations for Windows Phone Gains Offline Maps

Users of HTC’s Locations application on the Windows Phone platform now have access to maps when they are offline, thanks to a new update. Once users have updated the Locations app, they may download individual maps (including regions of the U.S.) that can be used when there is no cellular signal. HTC Invests in SyncTV to Bring Video to Handsets

HTC today announced that it has struck a strategic investment partnership with Intertrust Technologies Corporation (ITC), which licenses distributed computing and digital rights management technology. As part of the investment, HTC has acquired 20% of ITC’s SyncTV product. HTC Shuttering HTCSense.com

HTC today began notifying customers via email that it intends to cease offering its user back-up service at HTCSense.com. The service will officially close April 30. HTC recommends that customers log in to their account and download their data before the service halts operations.
