FCC Outs Samsung U380 Slider

Documents seen on the Federal Communications Commission web site provide details about an unannounced feature phone from Samsung. The U380 is a sideways slider with full QWERTY keyboard bound for Verizon Wireless, based on images of the device and spectrum support. The FCC confirms that the U380 supports CDMA EVDO in the 850/1900MHz bands, as well as Bluetooth. Nokia Pushing First Update to Lumia 800

Nokia today indicated that it is delivering the first system update to the Lumia 800 Windows Phone device. The update adds features, such as improved email, audio quality, and brightness, as well as better voicemail notifications. The update also makes performance enhancements, and power efficiency and charging improvements. Nokia Looking to Pawn Its Vertu Luxury Line

Nokia is interested in selling off its U.K.-based Vertu subsidiary, which sells high-end cell phones.
