New iPad 3 review
The new iPad 3 is here: with Apple promising this to be another revolutionary device, we’re wondering if the brand can really keep exciting users with its new devices. Can a sharper screen and improved innards entice enough people to make the jump?Confusingly, Apple’s latest model has no number in its name this time around strictly speaking (although most are still referring to it as the iPad 3 to avoid an Inception-like meltdown) – a sure sign that it’s here to stay, like the iPod and MacBook Pro.The main upgrades over the iPad 2 come in the form of a much higher ...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (Verizon) features gorgeous display, compact form factor
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a lightning fast LTE-capable Android tablet for Verizon Wireless. While its high price and current lack of Android 4.0 hamper it a bit, it’s still one of the hottest tablets available anywhere. Michael looks at it in this full review. Tweet Vote on HN ...
Apple’s new 4G LTE iPad still limits FaceTime to Wi-Fi
Despite featuring support for speedy 4G LTE service in the cellular version of its new iPad, Apple is still limiting the FaceTime video chat feature to Wi-Fi connections, a holdover from the 3G versions of the iPad that were constrained for bandwidth. One would think that with the greater bandwidth afforded by LTE (and early reviews show the iPad takes good advantage of it), Apple would allow FaceTime over cellular connections. The old argument against it was that FaceTime over 3G would offer a poor user experience, but it’s hard to believe that would be the case with LTE. Still, ...

Unfortunately it does not update the DROID X2 to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and Motorola has not announced plans to do so in the future. Users should get a notification on their handsets when the update is ready to be downloaded and installed. Tweet Vote on HN ...
