At first, we were promised a reveal to take place during February’s MWC. Then we thought that the phone will come out at New York City’s Unpacked event in late March/early April. Short ago, we received a report saying that April 18th will be the day. There is a source, though, that says that Galaxy S8 may be showcased earlier than that, which means that we may, after all, see it on February. Phone’s mass production will still begin in March, though, with Samsung planning to roll out an impressive five million units to begin with, and sell sixty million units altogether. ...

Samsung Galaxy S8 may be sporting 8GB RAM after all
We have heard that rumour before, but it was just that – a rumour. There simply were not any 8GB RAM chips good (as in, small) enough for modern, thinner-than-air smartphones. Well, now there are. Without going into boring technical detail, a South Korean company SK Hynix has created an 8GB RAM chip called LPDDR4X that is, reportedly, more powerful and power efficient and smaller than the popular LPDDR4 chips. Who will get it? Some sources say that the chip will be a Samsung exclusive; others believe that SK Hynix will sell both to Samsung and Apple.Sim-unlock.net is a system that ...
If Nokia is developing its own AI, its name is Viki
It has been only a few hours since Nokia filed for a trademark for a so called ”Viki” in Europe. What can it be? Well, the trademark application form says that Viki will be used with ”assistants working with digital knowledge and combining all data sources into a single chat and voice-based interface”. A new Siri? Possibly. Nokia is not exacly forthcoming with information, stating that ”we don’t comment on how, whether or when they (trademarks) may be used for Nokia products or service”. I guess we will have to wait and see.Sim-unlock.net is a ...
