It seems that Samsung is now working on a successor to Galaxy A7 (2017). According to the Geekbench listing, this year’s A7 will be sporting a 6′ FHD display, Exynos 7885 8-core CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and 6 gigabytes of RAM. It will probably also have a dual front-facing camera, although we cannot say that for sure.No word on device’s price, availability or date of release. Stay tuned. Tweet Vote on HN ...

Nokia 6 Arte Black is listed on Amazon US
Nokia’s upgraded midranger from February 2017 is finally available on Amazon. Smartphone’s price is $299 or less, depending on version chosen – either 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM or 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM. Unfortunately the device is out of stock right now, but this will surely change soon. Oh, by the way – Nokia 6’s OS will be upgraded to Android Oreo soon, which means that Arte Black will probably get the same treatment. Tweet Vote on HN ...
New iPhone X vid shows how shifting between applications works
It is mere hours since yesterday iPhone X video was deleted and a new clip has already surfaced. This one is much shorter, both in lenght and presence of self-centered girls that have to film themselves; it only takes four seconds to actually show us something about the phone. What it shows is iPhone X’s way to shift between applications. It looks very elegant – shifting is done by grabbing the app’s screen with one’s thumb and pushing it aside like a book page. Next opened app immediately jumps into its place. Thee whole process seems to b very fast and fluid ...

Not-quite official iPhone X video was released online. Watch it while you can
iPhone X will hit store shelves on Friday, but it has already been in the hands of testers for quite some time now. One of these testers is (was?) father of today’s little gem’s heroine, Brooke Amelia Peterson. She visited his dad in his workplace and managed to get catch the upcoming iPhone X on a video. The video depicts her father making a payment using Apple Pay, as well as Cover Sheet with camera and flashlight icons. It is doubtful that Apple will appreciate this leak, therefore the video is likely to soon be deleted from YouTube. I hope that Mr. Peterson will not have too ...

Huawei wants to have its own foldable phone as well
Apple & LG are working on a foldable, so is ZTE and Samsung. Huawei has seemingly decided that it is time to pick up the slack and follow the other big companies’ dream of making us happy with a passport-shaped phone. This news was confirmed by Huawei CEO Richard Yu himself, who, in an interview with CNET, stated that Huawei already has a working prototype of the device. It will probably hit the stores sometime in 2018; until then Huawei will be working hard to perfect the device, like removing ”empty space” from between the two displays. During the interview, Mr Yu ...
Samsung is working on its own wireless charger
Samsung flagship phones support wireless charging for good few years now, yet the company has never decided to make wireless charger of its own. Until now, that is – Samsung-made wireless charger patent has just surfaced online. Device is described as using QI standard and able to work in both induction and resonant modes, with possibility of switching between one and another. Picture above shows that the device can charge, for example, both a smartphone and a smartwatch at the same time.Of course it is just a patent. I doubt Samsung has a working, market-ready unit on its hands, and ...
Haha! Galaxy Note 8’s will be given out for free on a plane
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sales very well. It is a great phone, with shiny specification and, importantly, safe. Unlike its predecessor… remember how Galaxy Note 7s used to blow up? And how one blew up on a plane, after which many airlines disallowed them from getting aboard? Samsung remembers. Spanish division of the corporation has just set up a very special event – 200 passengers of an Iberia flight from Madrid to A Coruña, Galicia, have been surprised by receiving free Galaxy Note 8 units in the middle of flight.Haha! Good one, Samsung. We can say what we want about evil ...
Nokia 2 will be cheap as f… as something considerably cheap
Mr. Roland Quandt has found the yet to be released Nokia 2 in future offer of BHP Photo Video store. Store is supposedly going to be selling that phone for mere $99. Of course such low price bring with it correspondingly low specification:– 5′ HD display,– Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 CPU,– Adreno 304 GPU,– 1GB RAM, 8GB storage memory,– 8mpx and 5mpx cameras,– 4000mAh battery,– Android 7.1.1 Nougat.Sounds like a phone good for those whose wallets are thin but who want a Nokia model nonetheless. Nokia 2 is said to hit store shelves sometime next ...
