Largest of the Galaxy S10 models may have a 6.44′ display

According to the latest report from ET News, Samsung Galaxy S10 will be released in three different variants. Report claimed that the largest of them will have a 6.2′ wide display. Now, though, new information from an unspecified source suggests that it may be as big as 6.4′. The decision by Samsung to increase the size of its largest model reportedly has something to do with the triple camera setup that the phone is rumoured to have. Larger battery capacity required? Need for more room to put the third camera in? We do not know.As for smaller variants of the S10, they are both ...

Samsung Galaxy S9, S8 and Note 8 have received the US military’s approval

This basically means that the US military has found these models A-OK and approved their usage by the US Army officials, adding them to the Approved Products List for the US Department of Defense. Receiving this approval was a difficult task for Samsung, as it is, as silly as it may sound, a matter of national security: military officials should only use the safest and most efficient communication devices for their official business; therefore, Samsung smartphones had to fulfill one hundred unique requirements before being accepted. These requirements ranged from intrusion detection to ...

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 just received its FCC papers.

A new Samsung phone has just been listed on FCC. Bearing model number SM-N960F, it is expected to be the upcoming Galaxy Note 9. This expectation is based on the model number’s similiarity to previous Galaxy Note smartphones, such as Note 8 (SM-N950) or Note 7 (SM-N930). Unfortunately, this listing does not tells us anything about the phone’s specs. Still, at least we know what model number to look for when some actual info surfaces. Tweet Vote on HN ...

Samsung Galaxy S10 will get a feature that everybody wanted on iPhone X

According to the Korean news site The Bell, Galaxy S10 will have its iris scanner removed in favour of fingerprint on display scanner – something that Apple’s iPhone X was supposed to have. It seems that Samsung has finally came to the point where he and his subsidiaries can mass produce components neccessary for the in-display fingerprint recognition. After checking with company’s suppliers, The Bell discovered that no iris authentication components have been ordered for the Galaxy S10 production.By the way, it has also been suggested that the Galaxy S10 might also have a ...

A grain of rice is gigantic when compared to world’s smallest computer

American scientists… no, seriously, bear with me. A group of engineers from the University of Michigan have created a 0.3mm computer that can measure temperature. Well, ”computer” is probably too big of a word, pun totally intended – this device has no long term memory and loses all of its data upon losing power. Fact is a fact, though – we have a complete, working electronic device that is a dozen times smaller than a grain of rice. This device will be used to measure temperature in extremely little objects, e.g. a group of cells inside a body. It might prove ...
