The story begun yesterday and although it was quickly ”fixed”, it will not be forgotten soon. If you asked Siri about Donald Trump – perhaps the president came up in a conversation, or you wanted to make sure you are up to date on the president of the US – you would get a Wikipedia-based article with a rather interesting version of Trump’s picture. As it is doubtful that Apple would select a dick pic to be the face of the article about Donald Trump, the most obvious answer is Wikipedia: someone edited up Trump’s wiki article and the newly put picture was ...

Cameras of some of the US released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 are freezing at random
Both unlocked and carrier-locked models of US-released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 are having an odd camera issue. When trying to take a picture or a video with phone’s rear camera, the camera freezes. Third-party apps that use phone’s camera can also glitch out and not work properly. The issue is widespread enough to gather 58 pages on Samsung’s official forums. Samsung is working hard to push out an update that fixes this problem. Tweet Vote on HN ...

It will, naturally, support Moto Mods, though it is unsure whether or not it will support older mods or only the new ones like the Moto 5G mod. The smartphone is made with the US market in mind; it is ...

Huawei Matebook X Pro already sold out in Australia
Well that was fast. It was only a week ago that Microsoft Store added the Matebook X Pro laptop to its australian offer, and all the devices have already been sold out. This is probably both due to the laptop’s high quality as well as very juicy pre-order and Black Friday deals that the australian Microsoft Store offered for it; it is not every day that you can buy a laptop for two or three hundred bucks cheaper than normally. Sadly, we do not know when will the Microsoft Stores in the land down under be resupplied. That is what I call being a victim of your own success, though Huawei ...

App Store removed Tumblr from its offer because of child pornography
Apple has recently removed Tumblr from its app store. The reason? Tumblr’s failure to filter child pornography. Tumblr released a statement in which the company admitted that its security scans repeatedly failed to filter out images of child pornography, failure which caused App Store to temporarily remove the app from its offer. The ban is to be revoked once Tumblr’s security measures will be sufficiently updated. Tweet Vote on HN ...
