The mystery surrounding the Galaxy S10 is slowly dispelled as more and more info about it gets public. We already know some of its specs, and have seen a number of renders depicting the device. Now, thanks to @EVLeaks, we can put our filthy paws on what is supposed to be a real look of the smartphone. Unit depicted in the picture is said to be the ”normal” variant of Galaxy S10, with two others being the usual lite and plus versions. @EVLeaks’ tweet does not contain much info on the device, other than that it will be able to wirelessly charge other ...

”Bird Box Challenge”, or the Darwin Award goes to…
Bird Box is the latest, and seemingly very popular, Netflix production (as well as a blatant ripoff of Quiet Place, but shh). Popularity of the flick with Sandra Bullock as the main cast gave birth to a brand new Internet craze. Called ”Bird Box Challenge”, its gimmick is easy to figure out – it has people trying to go about their daily lives with their eyes covered. Results are easy to predict, and I am pretty sure that any day now we will get some sort of a ”Bird Box Challenge Fails” compilation video online. I will gladly watch it.As long as the idiots are ...

Exploding phone killed its owner
The unfortunate accident took place in India. 60 years old denizen of a Netavalgarh Pachhli village went to bed with his Jio smartphone in his pocket. When he woke up at night to go to bathroom, the phone exploded – man’s wife, who saw the whole thing happening, described it as ”flames covering his clothes”. Injured, the man was hospitalized but died from severe burns. As much as death is no laughing matter, it is hard not to think that the accident was victim’s own fault. If the man did not sleep with his phone put into a tight and overly warm place like his ...

Heh, okay, yet another reason to not move from Google Chrome… In an attempt to stay afloat, Mozilla has decided ona move that might be good for it but creates a bad precedens for all of us – namely, it now allows advertisements to show in Firefox’ home window, as shown in the screenshot above. Ads will be shown on every platform, from Windows to macOS to Linux.Interestingly, the ads still do not appear on everyone’s browsers. Mozilla might still be testing this ...

Hurray, yet another smartphone went up in flames
A new day, a new smartphone fire. This time a little tragedy has struck an iPhone Xs Max and its owner, one Josh Hillard, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Hillard has reportedly been carrying his smartphone in his pocket when he suddenly felt an unpleasant scent coming out of it. He removed the quickly overheating device, which soon erupted into flames and burned down. Hillard took the phone to the Apple service place, but decided against sending it to Windows for analysis. The reason may or may not be shame; it is easy to imagine that Hollard kept the phone in his pocket for lenghty times every day, ...
He sold his kidney for iPhone 4, or pffffthaaaaaaaahahahahaa!
A few years ago, back in the ancient days of 2011, a young man called Xiao Wang really, really wanted to get an iPhone 4. He has found the phone to be a status symbol, a luxury item, something that one had to have in order to ”be someone”. Sadly, the boy, or rather his parents, have not had the money to spend on such frivolities. Desperated and needy, the boy took drastic measures; he sold his kidney. Selling his body part earned him 3200 dollars, enough to buy the smartphone that he wanted. Wang did not worry about losing the kidney – after all, people can live with only ...
LG G7 ThinQ Android 9 Pie update is coming closer

People more in the know-how than I believe this rough estimate to be true, especially since the device’s beta has been available in South Korea since November. Guess we have to sit tight and wait for more information. Tweet Vote on HN ...
