MyScript Calculator 2 – wonderful calculator app available for free
MyScript Calculator 2 is, well, a calculator. Why is it so cool? Mostly because of its single, but pretty great, gimmick, namely the fact that it can read longhand writing. Check out this app’s gifs online, it can read even the most crooked writing. It is also very handy and intuitive – for example, if you make a mistake in calculation, you do not have to start everything all over; you can simply remove the mistake and put the correct value in its place. Results can be literally put aside for further use later by sweeping the calculation away on the screen. MyScript Calculator 2 ...

Some iPhone apps save your screen data without your consent
According to Tech Crunch specialists, some of the apps available on the App Store take both screen pictures as well as button usage data without the knowledge of their users. The guilty apps are the ones that use analytical tools made by the Glassbox company. Those tools put special programming code into the infected app that then infects the smartphone the app is installed on; it then sends data it gathers back to the app’s publisher. Not only are these informations collected illegally, as the companies using Glassbox do not inform their users about it in the user’s agreement ...

Oh dear, oh my, Earth’s magnetic field is shifting
American scientists have discovered that there are rapid changes in the magnetic field of our planet. Reportedly, it is moving much faster than usually, going from 15 to 55 kilometers per hour in only twenty years. These changes influence devices based on a magnetic compass, like planes or smartphones – for example your compass app might not be working correctly if you are close to one of our planet’s poles. At least the changes do not influence GPS apps such as Google Maps.If it scares you, all I can say is that we, humans, have nothing to do with these changes. They are ...
