Apple web shows, smart Nike shoes, McDonald buying out tech corporations: yep, 21st century is definitely an interesting time to live in. The takeover of the company worth 300 million bucks has allowed McDonald further know-how and manpower to work on their smart menu boards. Currently McD wants their menu boards to be highly interactive; the looks and the menu shown are supposed to change along with the weather, e.g. offering warm or cold drinks when needed, breakfast packages will take the forefront of the menu in the mornings and dinner ones in the afternoon et cetera.
The takeover has been an important goal to McD’s tech-loving CEO, Steve Easterbrook. The interactive menu tech is currently being tested; if it works, it will be implemented in the US’ McDrives.
