Asus seemingly enjoys beind the oddball among the phone makers. They rarely release a truly popular smartphone, having to be content with medium to low sales, and their phones often have various issues. This, though, is often caused ot by their product’s low quality but by the fact that Asus takes risks, it uses unusual solutions or adds features that are new to the market. Asus’ quirkiness has showed once again during this year’s Mobile World Congress: when most companies do their best to have at least working prototypes ready for the show, Asus merely released leaflets stating that their Zenfone 6 smartphone will come out on May 14th, on a special event in Valencia.
Pretty much nothing is known about this device. Asus’ PR says that it is a ”coming revolution” that will ”defy all expectations”, but that is just a normal ad talk. Guess we will learn more in a few months.
