Resident Evil 2: Ghost Survivors will tell us the stories of three non-playable characters who meet their deaths during the main storyline. Three short missions will put is in the skin of the gun store owner (where you get your first shotgun – oh, I remember this scene well back from the classic RE2), daughter of the mayor put in care of the infamous chief Irons and, lastly, an unnamed Umbrella mercenary whose mission was to kill the scientist that released the virus. We do not know whether or not will it be possible to actually save these characters; on the one hand Japanese love to put many different endings in their games, but on the other hand an inevitable death is a large theme in zombie universes.

Ghost Survivors will be available for free download to every owner of the new RE2. Gosh, I already plan buying Anthem, but this game is more and more tempting…
