Apple & LG are working on a foldable, so is ZTE and Samsung. Huawei has seemingly decided that it is time to pick up the slack and follow the other big companies’ dream of making us happy with a passport-shaped phone. This news was confirmed by Huawei CEO Richard Yu himself, who, in an interview with CNET, stated that Huawei already has a working prototype of the device. It will probably hit the stores sometime in 2018; until then Huawei will be working hard to perfect the device, like removing ”empty space” from between the two displays. During the interview, Mr Yu made claims of Huawei gaining momentum and stated that, sooner or later, his company will beat Apple and Samsung and become the world’s leading mobile producer. We’ll see.
