Jacquard is the newest invention of Google. It is a fabric made of fibers that can transmit touch, reacting to it in the very much same way as touch screens of your smartphones do. Thanks to this, left sleeve of Commuter x Jacquard serves as a sort of remote for the owner’s smartphone. You don’t have to take your phone out if you have it on – you can do things like picking up calls or changing audio tracks just by pressing the sleeve. It is also possible to assign different gestures to different phone features. Are you afraid about washing the jacket? Worry not. The Jacquard fiber is completely waterproof; you will only have to remove the control device. Speaking of which, control device’s battery is said to last for two days.
The jacket costs around 350 bucks, and will be available for sale sometime in autumn in both female and male versions.
