Probably Lenovo just showed corner to both LG and Samsung. Why? Well from some time now both companies try to make fully bending phone with normal touchscreen but closest they are (in terms of avaible models) are permanently bended phone.
Biggest obstacle on way to success are motherboard and battery that can’t be made bending because of their constructon. So most used i concepts way was arranging insides of phone that way they will be obstacle no more but…
But no functional model was created for now so it would be quite funny because LG and Samsung plan is to releace their models in 2017.
And realy funny thing is… this is possible. Lenovo showed concepts in June on Lenovo Tech Daye 2016 in San Francisco and now in spot announcing Lenovo on IFA Berlin 2016 we can clearly see bending smartpone and tablet so yes, it’s possible that Lenovo will releace them even this year.
