Last week was the launch of the LG G5 conference MWC in Barcelona.
The phone in its basic version has a very decent, top specification. As it turns out, however, that it will not be the same in all countries, in which LG G5 will be launched.
Latin Americans will get weaker version of this phone – with different processor and graphics. The change is somewhat surprising. Typically, manufacturers are limited to reducing RAM, flash memory or replaceming camera module for cheaper one. But here – entire device has been changed virtually.
Snapdragon processor 820 replaces the eight-core Snapdragon 652 and Adreno 530 graphics – changed to Adreno 510. In addition, this version will have 3 GB of RAM instead of 4GB.
Residents of Latin America will also not have the ability to easily purchase the LG VR goggles, because interest in VR technology is reportedly negligible in that area.
