We have some bad news for all Apple fans.

If you were waiting for a new 5G modem from Apple, well it won’t happen.

Based on the recent leaks we know that Apple has scraped their plans to create their own 5g modem.

The problem that the company is facing is connected to Qualcomm which provided 5g modems for Apple.

Apple has legal problems over modem patents held by Qualcomm which are set to expire in 2030.

It looks like Apple couldn’t handle the production and we won’t be seeing a 5G modem from Apple any time soon.
